Multiparty ballot, 2040

As imagined by the Shared Futures Lab

This ballot from the 2040 election shows the first time the Representative Party joined the Democratic and Republican Parties as a major national political party. Reflecting voters’ desire for a greater number of viable candidates, the Representative Party formed in 2032 and gained enough support from primarily young voters to elect politicians to national office in 2040.
