How do we tell this story?
To strengthen our understanding of the ideals in the Declaration of Independence, we ask questions about our country's past and present by looking to primary sources to find answers. These sources are as diverse as the people who created them and include diaries, letters, receipts, interviews, ledgers, physical objects, and more. This process of questioning, investigating, and interpreting is how we do history. We can use these same materials to imagine future scenarios.
How will our future counterparts interpret today’s events? What can we do to preserve the realities of our lives for future historians? What role could technology play in these efforts?
